Issues paying for subscriptions from India

If you reside in India and have subscribed, or are attempting to subscribe, you may have difficulty re-subscribing due to restrictions from the Reserve Bank of India and the Central Bank of India.

Our system will retry payment again in a few days, and it's likely to go through. In the meantime, here are some ways to resolve the issue:

  1. Contact your bank to opt-out of the new system restrictions.
    1. These restrictions aren't mandatory, and you can opt-out.
  2. Update your payment method.
    1. Learn how to do that here.
  3. Cancel your subscription, and then re-subscribe to Dataquest at the end of your subscription term.
    1. Your progress won't be lost.
  4. Contact your bank to inform them that you'd like to subscribe to Dataquest when your subscription attempts to renew.
  5. Reach out to us hereand ask us to manually retry the payment.
    1. This may mean we need to cancel your current subscription and activate a new subscription. Your progress won't be lost.
